Mission : Chile

I want to say a HUGE thank you to those who donated and made it possible for me to be a part of this incredible experience to come. I cannot express to you enough how appreciative I am of your generosity, continued prayers, and love throughout the planning of this trip. I have some pretty cool people in my life and I so so am thankful for each and every one of you. :)

In exactly 6 days, 13 hours, and 18 minutes Chile will be my home for two weeks. But who's counting? I am so excited for this journey! This trip is definitely outside of my comfort zone in pretty much every way possible which makes it so much more thrilling and leaves me so much more eager for take off! Our group is about to have some amazing once in a lifetime experiences. :)

Traveling is a passion of mine that continues to grow. I am always reminded of just how much the world has to offer...the beauty of God's creation is simply breathtaking. It truly amazes me how much of an impact missions are. You travel there in hopes of being a small inspiration for their community but you always leave with a heart full of so much love and honor for being a part of their lives even if it is for a short time. I am also amazed at how there is an immediate connection with people of a completely different culture, lifestyle, and possible language barrier, seriously never a dull moment. Chile will be full of blessings!

We will be in a city called Valparaiso (not to be confused with Valparaiso, IN) serving the YMCA and local areas hosting all kinds of fun activities for the kids and working on home construction/renovation projects. Each team member is also bringing used clothes and toys for the kids as well!

So, my plan is to post all of our adventures here to keep family and friends updated back home.  Feel free to follow along!

See you in Chile! ;)
