[Ephesians 3:20]

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we all ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us..."

We have all been guilty of feeling overwhelmed by the future.

How can we not have the desire to dwell on it when it is constantly shoved in our face…

What do you want to major in? What do you want to pursue that will “determine your future”? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? etc. etc.

Proposing our own designs and ideas for the future more often than not, result in anxiety of some sort. Sure, it is also a mixture of invigorating feelings – especially for us “planners” out there.

I believe it is perfectly normal to think about the future and what it may hold. That is the exhilarating part. All of the possibilities and opportunities that will present themselves. How we will use our gifts to serve others. How we will fill our lives with as much growth and joy as possible.

However, it is no surprise that sometimes, life just does not go as planned. Our plans change, and right along with that, we change.  We grow in our faith and we grow as people.

So what if instead of fear and anxiety from planning each moment of our lives, we replaced it with faith and trust in God?  Faith that with God we are destined for a divine future.  Trust that even if our plan(s) fall through or change direction does not mean there isn't something better ahead.

No matter what point you are at in your life we will always have one constant Creator of our blueprint for life.

We always have an incredible opportunity there for our taking if we choose to utilize it.  Living an abundant life with God's grace and a heart full of love to serve others.  Radiating the beautiful realization that there are always far better things ahead.
