Favorite Season(s)

Today's topic : Tell us about your favorite season.  Why is it your favorite and what does it say about you?

If asked this question a couple years ago, I would have answered summer without a doubt. To be honest though, I love certain parts of all four seasons! However, if I had to pick a favorite it would be a tie between fall and spring.

Fall inspires me in so many ways. The autumnal smells, delicious food, warm colors, apple + pumpkin everything, riding boots, cozy sweaters, chunky scarves, cool weather, warm drinks. The way you can distinctly see the seasons change from summer to fall. The jitters and excitement in the air with school starting. I love it all! Fall seems to bring out the best in me, it puts me in such a joyful mood.   I live in Indiana where we experience extremes of all four seasons. This means we get to see the maximum beauty throughout the entire year. I could not be more thankful for this.

Spring seems to refresh my soul. After coming out of those dreary winter months, springtime is just the pick me up we all need.  Winter time is beautiful during Christmas and I absolutely love it; however, beyond that I get extreme cabin fever. Which again, is why spring is such a mood booster! I love thunderstorms, sunshine, or a light rain. And spring has each one of those! Living in Indiana we get very unpredictable weather but I actually enjoy that. We have the opportunity to be completely surprised by the weather changing or sometimes we can pinpoint it right on the dot. It keeps it interesting. :)

  1. Fall is my favorite, but Spring has a special place in my heart simply because it's just this burst of new life springing up all over the place. So thankful God gave us seasons to enjoy.

P.S. I'm participating in the Blogtember Challenge, too, which is how I found your blog. :)

    1. Not sure what link for my name will take you to because I don't have a blogger account anymore. You can find me at www.twofeatheredarrows.com if you're interested. No pressure at all... Just didn't want that link to take you to a dead-end. ;)

  2. I totally agree! I prefer the weather of fall, warm enough not to freeze, but cool enough for my favorite clothes ;)

    1. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who loves that "in between" phase! Although a very warm day on the beach does not sound terrible, or an icy day spent snowboarding. ;)
