Friday Night In

This week has been a whirlwind. My hours picked up slightly at work this week which I am so grateful for. I had an interview on Wednesday in a city two hours away from home for the same work I do now, just different location. Found out Thursday that I got the job. Counter-offered the pay rate on Friday. Now I must wait until Monday for them to decide the new rate and for me to make a final decision. To take the job or stay where I am now, that is the question.

Today's topic : It's a Friday night and you decide to stay in. What do you do?

My Friday night consisted of redoing my budget and making a pros/cons list to moving two hours away from home or stay within 30 minutes of home. Lots of decisions running through my mind and while it may be a rather daunting situation to be in, not knowing which opportunity I should pursue, I could not be more thankful to be given these opportunities.

Tonight I am left with the reminder that we may not know which path is the "right" path to take or which decision will lead to the "best" outcome. To be in the unknown is when we are given the opportunity to find peace in the decision-making and be consistent in our faith no matter the outcome. We do not know what the best decision will be until we make it and pray for a positive result.

Aside from the job contemplation, I am house/dog sitting this weekend for a family that I care for dearly. They have a beautiful home and the cutest little yorkie, it always feels like home when I am here. :)

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Love + Prayers!
