Top 5 Books // D a y F o u r t e e n

Today's topic : The 5 books that have impacted your life the most.

Below are my top five novels, all that have impacted my life in some way. List some of your favorites in the comments, I am always looking for new books to read!

Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

Wisdom. This was a required book in high school as well as for a class in college. It has been one of my absolute favorites simply because of the message it portrays. It is an easy read, great life lessons, and makes you appreciate your life a little bit more.

Strive. Oh, this book. :) I saw the movie with Julia Roberts before reading the book and knew because of how much I loved the movie, the book would be just as amazing if not better. I love how Elizabeth Gilbert truly captures the essence of never settling in life, no matter how difficult it might be or what situation it is. Life is meant to be lived without abandon. And this book takes the reader through that exact adventure of a lifetime.

Classic. My current read. That I am absolutely loving. So much comfort in reading about Eric and Leslie Ludy's love story. They write with such honesty that it becomes easy to relate to whether dating or not dating with a faith-based undertone. It provides the commentary and the authors' personal experiences to remind men and women of their worth and being classic children of God.

Confidence. I started reading this in my third year of college, about the time that some college students begin to question their major and their future. I love this book because it sets you up for success. It gives you the confidence to pursue your dreams and truly chasing after what your heart desires without holding yourself back.

Heart. Living a full life that God intended you to live as a woman. This novel provides the spiritual and emotional aspect of your heart as a woman of faith and the heights that you are capable of reaching. We are all given a story. The authors of this book really do a great job of capturing the importance of embracing your heart and sharing your beauty in your life.
