Isaiah 40:29-31 [He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who HOPE in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.]

Isaiah is one of my favorite books of the Bible.

I am confident in God's promises to us. I am confident that with God all things are possible. I trust that if we put in the effort with a genuine heart for pursuing Christ, that good things will come + WHEN (not if) tough times hit, we are anchored in hope that God will carry us through.

A recent conversation with a brother in Christ refreshed my hope and trust in the Lord. Deep conversations (preferably over coffee) are my favorite. We talked about how God's grace is sufficient. That we are not meant to be perfect in any way but to admit our imperfections and continue to pursue Christ-like character. I pray that we have the will to defeat our enemies and adversities with the power of a heart for Christ. All the while knowing that life will never be what we consider perfection, God has that perfection covered.

So let's chat and have a coffee date, even if that means in the comments. As always, feel free to email me. I would love to connect and share the highs and lows to encourage each other. After all, we are all here living out our God-given purpose.

Love you all!

  1. Ah, I wish we could have a coffee date! I've had a string of bad luck lately and a job hunt that has been exhausting but I'm hopeful that things will turn around. And confident that God is in control, even if I have no idea what He is doing!

    1. Girl, job hunting can be so stressful. I have faith that you will get it done and get it done right! It is so hard knowing what God is thinking sometimes. I had this conversation with a patient recently, in the moment we seem to question God's path but once we reach the purpose, all of those little steps seem to make sense. Praying for you!
